    History of Rajasthani Kutumb

Rajasthani Kutumb of Victoria was formed in 2001 by 7 Rajasthani families. The main focus was to celebrate Rajasthani Festivals, Teej and Gangaur specifically, in Australia in traditional Rajasthani manner. The Kutumb was incorporated in 2003. All six paid life members at that time became the founder members of the organisation. They were: Jawale, Goyal, Manihar, Panwar, Sharma and Soni families

The following office bearers were elected unanimously in the first AGM held in October 2003:

Ghanshyam Soni	President
Brij Panwar	Secretary
Mahendra Goyal	Treasurer
Rajesh Manihar	Comittee Member
Reshma Jawale	Comittee Member

The second AGM was held after the incorporation in April 2005. The following office bearers were elected unanimously:

Brij Panwar	Vice President
Rajesh Manihar	Secretary
Mahendra Goyal	Treasurer
Meena Mathur	Committee Member
Vishal Mehta	Committee Member

The third AGM was held in April 2006. The following office bearers were elected unanimously:

Mahendra Goyal	Vice President
Vishal Mehta	Secretary
Khem Joshi	Treasurer
Rajesh Manihar	Committee Member
Mitesh Rathi	Committee Member

The AGM for year 2007 was held on April 22 at the Ashburton Library Hall. The following office bearers were elected unanimously:

Mahendra Goyal	President
Rajesh manihar	Vice President
Rakesh Saraf	Secretary
Prabhat Mehta	Treasurer
Rajiv Chowdhary	Committee Member
Poonam Mehra	Committee Member

The AGM for year 2008 was held on May 11 at the Ashburton Library Hall. The following office bearers were elected unanimously:

Vishal Mehta	President
Rajiv Chaudhary	Vice President
Rajiv Baheti	Secretary
Sachin Rathi	Treasurer

The following two comembers were elected with show of hands: Seema Agarwal and  Gopal Taori. However both committee members resigned soon after due to personal reasons and the following new members were elected by the committee:

The AGM for year 2009 was held on May 3 at Tandoori Junction, Glen Waverley. The following office bearers were elected unanimously:
